JOB DESCRIPTION

FACILITY COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: Senior Facility Coordinator

SUPERVISES: Assistant Facility Coordinator if Applicable/Volunteer

GENERAL DUTIES:
Manage the LITE HOUSE center for which they are responsible in the most efficient and profitable manner possible based upon the goals and objectives of the Lite House Policy and Procedures as well as the Lite House curriculum.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assuring the implementation of all approved curriculums
2. Proper execution of LITE HOUSE PARTNERS INC, policies and procedures related to on-site operations
3. Provide the optimum product and service to youth / residents in consideration of the physical limitations of the center. Maintain a consistent and strong customer service philosophy
4. Responsible for ensuring that all monthly reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner
5. Provide solutions in a disciplined, logical and consistent manner taking into account the potential legal ramifications that may occur
6. Certification as a Facility Director through the LITE HOUSE in – house training program. Attendance is required

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prefer at least a two-year degree (Preferably with child care), or equivalent experience. Volunteering is experience

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to successfully lead and manage people
• Ability to lead and work with children ages 5-18
• Ability to help with homework
• Good organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, verbally and written
• Good decision making ability
• Have and maintain a professional image
• Ability to operate a computer as well as computer software systems

REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to read and write the English language
• Ability to work standard center hours
• Own your own reliable transportation
• Must have your own working phone
• Must attend quarterly meetings
• Must be able to travel to the corporate office to retrieve snacks

EXPERIENCE:
• 2 years prior experience in youth development, child care, summer program, after school program, teacher etc. Bilingual and managerial experience is a plus.
